You only need to obtain a single Engine Unlimited perpetual license if you don't need the full source code of Code Effects and are not going to distribute your product with embedded Code Effects engine to your end-users. With this license, you only pay once to own it forever. There is no maintenance, per-dev, per-CPU, or any other type of fees or costs. Period.
Our pricing is reasonable. In most cases, you get the full featured state-of-the-art business rules engine and the best-in-market rule editor for merely what you pay per month to a seasoned developer.
