    This License delays all calls to Evaluate() and Filter() extension methods of the Rule Engine for six seconds. All other features and distribution terms of this License are the same as for the Engine Unlimited License. This license is designed for testing purposes only and CANNOT BE USED in production environments.

    Perpetual license, no hidden fees
    Discounts for non-profits, startups and small businesses as well as convenient payment options are available.
    This License allows Organization to run the Rule Engine as part of the Product on any domain name, network, server, load balancer, or web farm that belongs to and is run by Organization. The Organization may also run the Rule Engine on any type of cloud hosting environments such as Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform as part of the Product. This License DOES NOT INCLUDE our Distribution or Partner subscriptions. It comes with our Basic Support and covers only a SINGLE PRODUCT. The Organization needs a separate Engine Unlimited license for each Product that uses the Rules Engine.

    This License comes with the complete C#, JavaScript, XML, CSS, and text source code of the Rule Editor. The source is delivered as a Visual Studio solution ready to be loaded and compiled. Under this License, the Organization is NOT ALLOWED to distribute, publish, or otherwise share any part of the source code with third parties or individuals not directly involved in the development or deployment of the Product. This License DOES NOT INCLUDE our Distribution or Partner subscriptions. It comes with our Basic Support as well as one Engine Unlimited License that covers only a SINGLE PRODUCT.

This License DOES NOT INCLUDE our Distribution or Partner subscriptions. It comes with our Basic Support as well as the Engine Unlimited License that covers the ENTIRE ORGANIZATION and all Products that use the Rule Engine.

    This license can be purchased only as an add-on to the Engine Unlimited License. It ensures that Organization receives the complete source code of both the Rule Editor and the Rule Engine in the unlikely event of Code Effects Software going out of business, provided that this License is paid in full by Organization at the date of the above-mentioned event. This License is designed to be a low-cost alternative to typical source code escrow services.

    This is an annual subscription designed to be an add-on to any Code Effects License. It covers any market and/or territory allowing Organization to distribute and/or install the Rule Engine and/or the Rule Editor as part of the Product to/on the unlimited number of devices of ONLY INDIVIDUAL END-USERS of the Product.

    Annual subscription
    This is an annual subscription designed to be an add-on to any Code Effects License. It covers any market and/or territory allowing Organization to distribute and/or install the Rule Engine and/or the Rule Editor as part of the Product to/on the unlimited number of devices of ANY third-party legal entity including but not limited to corporations, partnerships, non-profit organizations, funds, communities, educational and manufacturing facilities, government entities and local authorities, AS WELL AS individual end-users.

    Annual subscription
    This is an annual subscription designed to be an add-on to any Code Effects License. This subscription includes online documentation as well as email, phone, and online product support. Code Effects Software specialists are on-call during the US EST business hours. It is designed to help the Organization to get the most out of the License in all stages of development, testing, and maintenance of the Product.
    • •Enterprise Support
    Annual subscription
    This is an annual subscription designed to be an add-on to any Code Effects License. It includes online documentation as well as email, phone, and online product support and analysis of a particular implementation of the Rule Engine or Rule Editor in the Product. It also allows the Organization to request one of Code Effects Software specialists to meet with Organization's development team in person anywhere in continental US or Canada for the purpose of Rule Engine implementation design and architecture discussions. All related travel expenses are included in the cost of this subscription (Limit of two trips per the calendar year for one subscription; limit of two business days per trip.) This subscription is designed to help the Organization to get the most out of the License in all stages of development, testing and maintenance of mission-critical projects.
You are advised to test all functionality of Code Effects using the Engine Trial version before paying for your own copy. Returns are honored by special request only and cannot be guaranteed. Please refer to our Refund Policy for details.

Definitions

  • Code Effects business rules engine consists of two major components: the web-based Rule Editor and the Rule Engine.
  • License: Any of the Rule Engine licenses listed in this document.
  • Organization: A business entity that purchased or otherwise legally obtained the License from Code Effects Software or one of its resellers.
  • Product: Any version of a SINGLE PRODUCT developed by the Organization.
  • Basic Support: Includes email-based product support as well as our online documentation. We guarantee to reply to your product support requests within 2 (two) business days for the first 3 (three) calendar months from the date of our invoice.

General Terms

  • The Rule Editor and its dependencies can be referenced from NuGet. It is free to use in any type of the Product on any domain name and any other resource identifier on any number of servers on any .NET platform on any environment. The Organization is only allowed to deliver the Rule Editor to the end-users of the Product from servers that are controlled by and run by the Organization. The Organization is NOT ALLOWED to distribute the Rule Editor with the Product unless Organization purchases either the Distribution or the Partner subscription.
  • The Rule Engine comes in two versions: the Engine Trial license that is available on NuGet, and the licensed version which can be obtained by Organization using the Downloader and the product key purchased from Code Effects Software.

Refund Policy

  • Customers are advised to test all functionality of the Code Effects business rules engine using Engine Trial license before purchasing their own copy. The trial version is freely available for reference from NuGet and does not require account registration.
  • Due to the nature of Code Effects distribution, and the absence of paid copy usage and location control, all refunds are honored by special request only and cannot be guaranteed. Generally, we make refunds only in proven cases when a credit/debit card was stolen and used to purchase Code Effects products.
